DONATE
Masonic Fundraisers are a means by which Masonic lodges can promote charitable causes in their local communities. Some Masonic lodges organize fundraisers to donate money to the national level for the Salvation Army, Red Cross, Special Olympics, United Way and charities. But most Masonic lodges organize their charity activities at the local level.
GIVE ONLINE
Most Masonic lodges have a charity fund. The charity fund is made up of little donations given to the lodge from some members. Most of the fund comes from fundraising activities by the lodges in partnership with their community.
Donations from members and fundraisers from lodges provided the needed funding for the charity fund.
BECOME A VOLUNTEER
The values of Freemasonry are based on integrity, kindness, honesty and fairness. Freemasons are taught to practice charity and to care, not only for their own, but also for the community as a whole – both by charitable giving, and by voluntary efforts and works as individuals.
From its earliest days, Freemasonry has been concerned with the care of orphans, the sick, and the aged. This work continues today. In addition, large sums are given to national and local charities.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Charity has always been a core principle of Freemasonry and we’re proud of our 300-year history of helping those in need. Our members make an important contribution at a local, national and global level every year by giving both their time and money to make a real difference to a number of organisations and communities.
